Restaurant Review: Ardsley Station
Written by: Hilliard Davis, Haley Bird, and Elana Ruben
When we decided to go out to dinner a few weeks ago, there was only one option.. Ardsley Station! A favorite of ours, this restaurant EXCEEDS our expectations every time. There is absolutely nothing lackluster or lacking flavor. The atmosphere is top tier, and it is always guaranteed to be a fun time when we go.
For the table, we OBVIOUSLY got the pimento cheese bruschetta. The pimento cheese is divine, and the spicy fig jam and radish placed atop the warm, crispy baguette really makes this the best part of the meal.
For our entrees, we went all out. Haley and Elana both decided to get the chicken Caesar salad, which was indeed delicious. The chicken was lean and grilled to perfection. I decided to get the white cheddar cheese grits, which even if you are not a fan of grits, was delicious and I would highly recommend. I also ordered a side of truffle fries for all of us to share, although I did eat most if not all of them. They were not soggy at all and came out fresh from the frier (I would expect nothing less).
For dessert, we all weren’t super hungry but still wanted something to ease our sweet tooth. So, we got a slice of cake (I forgot the flavor) to share. It had crunchy balls of graham cracker, and a sweet caramel drizzle on top. This was definitely an unexpected texture, but we were all pleasantly surprised.
In all, this dinner was delicious and we would, again, HIGHLY recommend this restaurant for any occasion.
