Campus Life

Written by: Bella Bentley

A lot is taking place here on campus this month! Starting off, we have fall break quickly approaching us. That means no school on October 14th and 15th. The perks of being a senior are already starting, because on October 16th seniors have the day off due to the PSAT. Not only do we have fall break coming up, but we also have some big home football games taking place this month. Last game, our seniors and juniors enjoyed burgers and hot dogs at the tailgate, before cheering on our football team to a great home win. We cannot wait to see everyone there again this month! These last home games include Senior Night/Pigskin and Homecoming. Come out and support our senior football players and cheerleaders while also enjoying a variety of food trucks on October 18! And of course, we are all eagerly awaiting for homecoming on October 26. The theme for the game is Christmas, which means it's time to pull out all your Christmas accessories as the holidays approach us. The Student Council has chosen some great themes this year for the week of homecoming. This year they include ‘Merica Monday, Tacky Tourist Tuesday, Class Color, Class Theme, and Spirit dress. Class themes and colors will be announced closer to time. The Homecoming dance will be on Saturday, October 26. To top off the month, we have Halloween to finish off strong on Thursday, October 31. We cannot wait to see everyone’s amazing costumes this year. Happy October everyone, have a great month!
