I would guarantee that everyone, at some point in their life, has or will go on a Valentine’s Day date. Whether your date was prepared with an agenda for a Valentine’s Day date or not, there is always a romantic dinner involved, usually including dim candlelight and a chance to wear your most expensive clothes. Although this is usually the go-to Valentine’s date, sometimes someone chooses a place with a deeper meaning and not necessarily fancy. For example, if Chick-fil-A was where you had dinner on your first date, maybe you would go back there for Valentine’s Day. I think a romantic dinner with more meaning behind it is just as special as a formal dinner ending in a pretty hefty check.

In my case, I would recommend somewhere like Starland Yard because it has amazing pizza, you don’t have to dress up a lot (unless you want to), and it is outside. Usually, there is live music and different food trucks that you can visit. In all, it is a delicious, fun, and high-energy place that many people attend. If this is your first date with a boyfriend on Valentine’s Day and you are worried about feeling awkward, there is zero way to feel awkward at Starland Yard since it is big and loud. Not to mention, when finished with dinner at Starland Yard, you are able to share a dessert from a food truck. Usually, there is a cookie one there that is so much fun. The prices for the fresh pizza, drinks, and extra additions are very reasonable and affordable. If you are looking for a quiet place for some alone time with your partner this Valentine’s Day, then this place is probably not at the top of your list, but you should definitely visit it at some point.
